Spirit-filled fiction and non-fiction teachings to helpSpirit-filled fiction and non-fiction teachings has always been my focus in my heart. Finally, it is going to be that way in the Skilled Workman. Time has gotten too short to do anything else. If you have ever wished to live in Bible Times, the Lord has answered your prayer. What a glorious time to be alive.

Prophetically, we are in the birth pangs of the massive transformation heading toward us on this planet. It’s an exciting time to be alive! For example, on the day I am writing this, I am confined to my home by the government because of the COVID-19 panic and the fact that I am 75 years old. Let me remind you of Matthew 24: 7b-8, “There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” The word sorrows is the word ὠδίν ōdín, o-deen’; a pang or throe, especially of childbirth:—pain, sorrow, travail. [Strong’s]. Just in the past month [March 2020], we’ve seen locust swarms over huge areas from India and Pakistan, through the Persian Gulf, and throughout East Africa bringing a major threat of famine, a pandemic as mentioned, and many earthquakes—one of which broke the trumpet off the statue of the Angel Moroni on top of the temple in Salt Lake City. The beginnings of the birth pangs are surely upon us.

It is time to “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.”

There have been a few prophets in the church calling for this, like Perry Stone. But, so far there is no response in that direction from the population as a whole. The cup of iniquity is becoming full, and repentance is not being seen. So, I am feeling a strong call to add my voice to those who are warning people that the time is short. It is time to get yourself right with God.

This is also true for believers. Many of us are expecting the rapture soon. But we need to remember the words of Jesus, again. “Therefore watch always and pray that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36 This seems to strongly imply that if we are not watching and praying, we might well have to go through the Tribulation. It is time to draw near to the Lord and He will draw near to you.

Spirit-filled fiction and non-fiction teachings to help at this time

If you’ve been following me for any time at all, you realize that I have written quite a few Biblical teaching books. I have also written some Spirit-filled fiction. It’s all on Reality Calling, my blog for Christian Speculative Fiction authors. But my focus is turning more toward targeted small teachings in posts to point my readers toward practical things they can do to make their lives go better, and to become more pleasing to Jesus. That’s a lofty goal. I certainly cannot do it without the Lord’s direct involvement.

If He doesn’t anoint the work, it will be a waste of time. So, I ask for your prayers. If there are specific topics you would like to see covered, I would welcome the suggestions.
