I’m working on new video coursework about using InDesign for publishing. The first course is concerned about book production getting started understanding typography. My concern is reaching my target audience which is you.
I’m writing for an elusive niche—people like yourselves who understand the value of the typographic power of a tool like InDesign. As a font designer, I am very much aware of the fact that no software can build typographic communication as well as InDesign with the help of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Book production getting started understanding typography
My desire is to help authors and book designers understand. It’s not like it’s optional. Our world is becoming more design-driven every year, month, and day. Publishing is increasingly controlled by authors and designers. That’s actually the point of the new self-publishing industry of which you and I are a part.
So, I’m asking for your help
What should I call the coursework? So far, the overall course name is InDesign CC: Book Production—broken into two classes: Getting Started & Producing a Book. That says what needs to be said, but there’s no spark or zing. It doesn’t seem to be targeted well. There’s no clearly defined and accurate niche being targeted.

The coursework is built on presentations & demos
This has worked well with my Practical Font Design course, presently offered on Udemy. So, I’m hopeful it will work here also. The problem being that the InDesign/book design niche is less well defined.
So, I’d love to hear any ideas you might have to give this project better focus
