  1. How does this iPad Apple announcement effect books? I’m not sure I get it. This new color management seems like it is more for games or movies. Or do you see this as a melding of books with movies, which is what ePub seems to offer. Maybe I’m old fashioned (which I am), but I can’t see a novel being suddenly interrupted by a 3D movie, and then return to the novel.

    No, this is just a reminder that, if you are using a PC, you start with a handicap. You need to make sure you get good color management tools. They do not come with Android or Windows by default.

    Most people are not aware of this issue, and Mac owners can’t understand why they get complaints from PC online viewers.
