Today I published a carefully constructed revision of the original 7×10 book as a 6×9 book on Lulu, Createspace, and Scribd.
Due to a find and replace flaw in the original, many of the “we are”s were converted to I are and all the similar permutations that go with that kind of mental clumsiness. In the process, InDesign went through a spasm and damaged several of the images, so I fixed all of that. It does all seem to be fixed, at this point.
It is available on Lulu as a 6×9 book of 194 pages for $19.95, or as a $4.99 downloadable PDF..
It is available at Scribd, also.

Just one quick question, David: You mention “Word” in your article, which tells me you’re a pc/Office user. I do all my work on a Mac. While I’m willing to bet that the major concepts of your book cover both bases, I have to ask if you are writing to the pc crowd when it comes to the specifics of Writing in InDesign? Or, will your teachings be equally applicable to my Mac brain? Thanks much – g
I’m exclusively Mac and have been for two decades. I only mention Word because traditional publishers demand its use.
I don’t cover PC use…except for the obvious fact that many cannot be persuaded of their poor judgement in that regard.
